"I have to do something to bring about change".


We know that change just happens. The trouble is we often think that we have to do something to feel good. And that this doesn’t last unless we make the effort. 

Perhaps it’s the other way round. That well-being is our nature. And often the effort that we’re making is pulling ourselves away from it. Rather like picking at a cut and wondering why it’s not healing.


Sports people, musicians or artists talk about being in the zone where the activity seems to happen effortlessly. 

But it can also be in every day activities such as housework, walking or typing an email.
